Oily skin and acne are synonymous. That is because acne is the end result of clogged skin pores, which are, in turn, caused by dirt and bacteria that have become caught in the oils that the body secretes. Oily skin is a sign of hormonal changes, which is why pimples and acne are prevalent in adolescents rather than in adults. This is also the reason why people would always have various ways of caring for different skin types.

Whatever the reason, it is always important to get rid of acne skin and do something about oily skin. Here are some ways that you can relieve yourself of your skin problem:

Preventing Pimples

Prevention is always better than cure. While adolescents don’t have much choice over the matter as hormonal changes are part of their development, adults, on the other hand, can control or prevent pimples and oily skin from becoming a problem for them.

The best thing to do to prevent pimples from ever occurring on your skin is to keep your skin clean and free of dirt. This way, the pores get unclogged and thus stop dirt from accumulating in the clogged pore. This is simply the best way to keep your skin smooth and acne-free.

Of course, you should do something about oily skin. Oily skin can be caused by several factors, some of which include your habits and practices in life. For example, you can influence your skin to become oily if you drink too much coffee or any other product that contains caffeine. Using skin products that are not oil-free can also cause oily skin.

Removing Pimples

When pimples do arrive, it is time to think about removing and treating them. Doing so is very easy and simple. There are many techniques developed for their removal, and most of them are very natural or cheap.

One of them is to use the juice of unripe papaya. All you need to do is just extract the juice from the fruit, and apply it locally to every spot where pimple is found on your face. Leave on for a few minutes, then rinse off using water. Another alternative would be to use a mix of curd and thymal powder. Just like papaya juice, apply it on the acne, leave on for 15 minutes, and then rinse off.

Whatever method you use, it is important to remember that you must not prick or squeeze the pimple as it may cause scarring, which could mean more problems for you. Make sure to finish every treatment by cleaning the pimple with cotton balls and hot water.
